In addition, the Ruijie Real-easy Series smart surveillance switches provide simple and easy-to-use management features while offering plug and play with factory default configurations, which can quickly find surveillance network errors, restart PoE ports, perform VLAN configurations, etc. Ruijie Cloud applications and remote management of the Ruijie Cloud platform are also supported, making operation and maintenance of surveillance networks easier and more convenient, while reducing operating and maintenance costs.

Under the factory default state, Smart surveillance switch requires zero configuration once plugged in. The video surveillance network can be set up quickly after properly connecting the Switch to the camera and DVR.
High compatibility for network cables
The intelligent surveillance switch not only supports standard cat5 / 5e / 6 network cables, but also supports data transmission over network cables of non-standard materials (such as 0.38 / 0.40 / 0.45 diameter copper-coated steel / iron), facilitating construction and wiring.
High surge protection for device stability
The ports of the smart surveillance switch offer surge protection of up to 6KV, reducing the chance of being damaged by surges and increasing the stability of the customer’s network.
Fast fault positioning
The intelligent surveillance switch supports network topology view of the entire network and monitors network status in real time. When a network camera failure occurs, the location and cause of failure can be displayed in a timely manner, and notifications can be sent via the mobile app.
Configure VLANs on demand
In a villa / shop / office network, a network camera and a wireless AP can be connected to the same Switch. Without network isolation, there may be problems such as lagging camera screen and slow wireless speed.
The smart surveillance switch provides a convenient and flexible VLAN division, which can automatically divide different VLANs according to the type of equipment connected to the port, so that the surveillance network and data network do not interfere with each other, increasing the stability of the entire network.
Ruijie Cloud application / Ruijie Cloud platform remote management
The smart surveillance switch not only supports web interface management, but also supports mobile applications and remote management of the Ruijie Cloud platform. Users can view network status, change configurations, and troubleshoot problems at home. Also, the port can be restarted remotely.
Automated network for switches that allows one-step project management
The intelligent surveillance switch can obtain an IP address automatically from the gateway and connect to the external network without configuration. MANET for Switch is also supported. Users can scan QR codes from any Switch on the network using the mobile app to automatically add all Switches on the network to the project.
In addition, the smart surveillance switch supports networking with Reyee Series EG / EAP. Switches can be found automatically by Reyee Series EG / EAP and added to the appropriate project.
