DESCRIPTION

Cooling system made to maintain temperature stability suitable for data center. Data center is a facility used for the placement of several sets of servers or computer systems and data storage systems (storage). Regarding how to design a data center cooling system. What needs to be considered is a clear path from the cooling source to the server / device in the data center. There are 3 types of air distribution flows, namely: flooded, locally ducted, and fully ducted. General criteria for cooling system design in a data center that must be met are as follows: Excellent scalability and adaptability. It is standardized. Simple but smart. In principle, the cooling system in the data center is a cold air flow system, which is divided into three main devices, namely the Air Handler, Chiller, and Cooling Tower. Some commonly used data center cooling methods are given, namely Room Oriented, Row Oriented, Rack Oriented.

The cooling system in the data center is made to maintain a stable temperature suitable for the data center. Temperature and humidity conditions that must be maintained in the Data Center: Dry temperature: 200C – 250C (680F-770F), with an average normal temperature condition set to 220C ± 10C. Relative humidity: 40% -50%, with normal point being 45% ± 5%. Maximum dew point: 210C (69.80F) The maximum possible change from the current temperature limit is 50C (90F) per hour, the maximum dew point is 210C.

The cooling system must be well planned so that the air flow from the cooling device flows in a parallel direction to the rows of cabinets / racks. General criteria for cooling system design in a data center that must be met are as follows: Excellent scalability and adaptability. It is standardized. Simple but smart.
