XS-S1920 Series Switches

Ruijie Switch RG-S1920 Series By Ruijie – Ruijie XS-S1920-E or Ruijie Switch RG-S1920 Series Switch is a cost-effective, next-generation smart managed Layer 2 switch for commercial real estate, hotel and CCTV. This series is designed for small and medium sized businesses looking for a solution that is easy to implement.

Ruijie Switch RG-S1920 series is part of the Ruijie SME network product. This series consists of 7 switches including one Gigabit PoE + 8 port model, one 16 port Gigabit model, one 24 port Gigabit model, two 24 port Fast Ethernet PoE + switch models, and two 24 port Gigabit PoE + switch models.

This switch can be used plug-and-play out the box. It can also be customized with features available from the built-in Web-UI as well as the command line (CLI). Features including VLAN, Spanning Tree, IGMP Snooping are configurable.

With Ruijie Cloud, fast deployment, centralized monitoring and remote maintenance can be done in a more efficient manner. Using the Smart + feature for CCTV, configuration for IP cameras can be done automatically on the PoE model, saving a lot of energy and time on site.

Web and Ruijie Cloud Application

The S1920 series fully supports Ruijie Cloud, which is a cloud-based service that helps users deploy and manage devices and networks. Now using the Ruijie Cloud mobile app, simple monitoring and maintenance work for the switch can be performed remotely on the mobile. More professional operations can be performed on the Ruijie Cloud Website.

Built-in Web management

Even non-technical users can easily manage the network via the Web browser and Web-UI S1920.

Command Line Interface

With RGOS full command line support, complex configuration and troubleshooting is also possible.

SNMP v1 / v2c / v3

Switches can be located and monitored from an NMS system or other SNMP based network tool.

Network Time Protocol

Allows time synchronization between the time server and client, meeting the needs of clock-dependent devices on the network.

Automatic Intelligent Application

The IP camera and NVR will be identified by the switch, and configurations such as MTU, flow control, and port isolation will be applied automatically.

Remote Reboot Assistant

With the help of Ruijie Cloud or the Web-UI switch, the PoE IP camera can be rebooted without unplugging the cable on site.

IGMP Snooping v1 / v2 / v3

Instead of flooding traffic to all ports, the switch filters multicast traffic to improve network performance, especially useful for IPTV and CCTV deployments.

Jumbo Frame Support

Improves the transfer performance of large data packets, supports frame sizes up to 9216 Bytes.

SFP port for fiber connectivity

Provides fiber uplink on all models. The SFP port is in addition to the RJ45 Ethernet port, giving a higher total number of ports available.

Power over Ethernet (PoE / PoE +)

5 The PoE model provides up to 30Watt per port, which enables support for the latest PoE + capable devices such as high-performance access points and IP cameras, as well as IEEE802.3af (PoE) compliant powered devices.

For the XS-S1920-9GT1SFP-PE, Ports 1-8 provide PoE / PoE +. For the other four 24-port PoE models, Ports 1-24 provide PoE / PoE +.

STP, RSTP and MSTP

Supports IEEE802.1D (STP), IEEE802.1w (RSTP) and IEEE802.1s (MSTP) standards, providing redundant links while preventing network loops.

Fast Link Detection Protocol (RLDP)

RLDP detects link connectivity, and supports enhanced loop detection functions to prevent network errors caused by devices such as Hubs.

Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE)

Complies with the requirements of IEEE802.3az standard to save energy.
